CHAN - Acceptance and Use
On the market and in use since 1986.
Aquarian's CHAN for Windows has been in use by hundreds of engineers and scientists in Florida since the mid-1980s and in routine use by consultants and local governments in numerous other states. The five Florida Water Management Districts, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, FDOT and numerous local governments are among our licensed Florida users.
To out knowledge, CHAN has never been challenged for use in stormwater system analysis, design or permitting. While this statement may seem trivial for a new software product, it is testament to excellence for one that has enjoyed wide use for over 20 years.
CHAN is also FEMA approved throughout the SWFWMD for use in Floodplain Mapping.
